My name is Viktoriia Horiachko. I am a native Ukrainian translator with English - Ukrainian as the main working language pair. I’ve got 6 years of professional experience and a record of excellent reviews from clients.

At the same time, I always make sure that my work closely follows instructions of clientele, is free from misunderstandings and sounds natural in Ukrainian.
A bit on history and passion
Translation was something that always interested me. As soon as I was able to read in English, a lot of free time was spent experimenting with localization: rendering favorite novels into my native language, comparing the outcome to already existing translations, analyzing differences. The whole process captivated me.
Around that time came a realization of how important it is for knowledge and experiences of different cultures to be recreated by means of other languages and in this way become accessible for much wider audiences. Since then the profession of a translator began to look exceptional and rewarding to me. So I admired the idea of becoming one.
I consider myself extremely lucky for having built a career in something that I am so passionate about. I find inspiration in helping others whether it’s expanding a business to Ukrainian market by localizing a website, growing audience of a documentary film by subtitling it or translating a book.

A bit more personal
With the heart of a wanderer, desire to continuously learn about the world and to explore, recently I’ve embarked on a journey of being location independent.
I spend my free time hiking, reading and taking photos. Other things that interest me are environmentalism, psychology and nutrition.
